1980 P & 1989 P Dimes

    I have two dimes. One is a 1980 P and the other is a 1989 P. They both seem to have an ear issue going on. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.

    I guess I was wrong. I just thought there was a problem with the ear lobes. There seems to be an extra little part under them.

    I wasn't trying to say you were wrong. I was just trying to get a laugh. They can't all be gems. Sorry.

    The '80 looks like die deterioration or machine doubling to me.
    The '89 I can't tell.
