1980 d quarter

Does anyone know anything about the 1980d quarter and an error with second partial face?

I say not a Mint error.
A 1980 Quarter has a Clad Layer with a copper inner core that when exposed to extreme heat can bubble up. Looks like it's the issue with yours.

 

I suppose I wasn't really clear and pics are crap to say the least but on the quarter there is part of another face where for lack of better words in the bubbling and only normal damage on back side
