Reverse.jpg Oberse.jpg Dollar.jpg AMERICA.jpg The doubling has the double orientation Out and in. But also to the left and to the right. And also it's shaped round. Thank for your help.

MER.jpg R.jpg Thank for the coments. I though maybe DDR and double strike at the same time. This is the second dollar 1980 D I found like that.

A double strike is a coin that is struck twice. A doubled die is a coin that is struck once by a die which has a doubled design. Your coin has neither. It has mechanical doubling.
    Keep up the hunt!

You explained what is Double Strike and double Die. WHAT MECHANICAL DOUBLING MEAN?

Mechanical doubling, also kown as machine doubing or strike doubling is when the (usually) top or hammer die is slightly loose and slips at the time of a strike.
This looseness will seem to look like a flat shelf like doubling.

Many collectors consider it damage to a coin, and not worth a premium.
