    Hi All!

Had to ask and just couldn't pass it up. This is an uncirculated coin that is from my World Soccer Cup commemorative set from 1980 to celebrate Spain hosting the Cup in 1982-Italy won. I had a few seconds last night and decided to check out the coins in the set and found this. I hate to say it, but maybe it is MD, I HOPE NOT!
This is the best picture I could get at this time. I put some arrows on the "T" and "A" as the glare kept blinding out the lines that are also on these two letters. The "A" IMG_0063.JPG IMG_0067.JPG has a full other "A" outline but much sm IMG_0067.JPG IMG_0069.JPG aller, closer to the "A." The "T" only has the outline of another "T" but only on the inside. So what it will be called MD or DBLD starts weak left to strong right. Please be kind LOL.

Looks flat and shelf-like to me. I would call it MD.

Thank you for the reply. Well on the ends of the "S" at the top end of the "S" and on the inside lower end of it it is very raised on the "A" it is thicker at the point of the "A" and the bottom right of it, it is raised to. The "T" is only slightly raised more at the bottom. I do believe your assessment as well though, I just had to have, what I had hoped to be, a few more replies that concur. Bummer though because if it was not MD on this specific coin it would have been a grandslam!

Sorry you didn't get any other replies. Maybe someone will chime in later. But yeah, I am 99.9% sure this is MD. I see none of the indicators that would lead me to believe it to be a doubled die.

I seem to keep finding these ones, but due to being new to this, I definitely look for confirmation here. Thank you!

well this is a more clear picture that shows it is not a flat and on the "A" well you can see more and on the "T" it may not change anything but just in case. IMG_20140517_103716.jpg

And if you do it right, images come out nice and straight ( level & plumb)

Rick, why is it cut at an angle? Wouldn't straight be better?
