So, I'm fairly new at this. I recently became interested in searching for amazing coins (error, odd, ancient, etc.) and I've been trying to train my eye. I have made my own "magnifying glass" for my phone with a focusing lense from a laser pointer. I ran into this 1979 Susan Dollar coin that was given to me by my mother-in-law. It seems to have doubled die letters on the reverse side but the coin is circulated so I can't be certain on what the heck I'm looking at. Any help and tips are greatly appreciated.
I was thinking it might have been that but I haven't seen this enough to determine what it was. I appreciate the response!
Welcome to the neighborhood! Where in Maryland do you live? I'm originally from Rockville, but I've been in Southwest Florida since 1978. Chris
I'm in the Arbutus area. I moved here about 5 years ago from NY to Bowie, and got married and bought our first house! Now I'm finding hobbies that won't get me in trouble! Haha
