1979 SBA Wide Rim Missing Clad?

Hi Folks, I have this Bu 1979-P SBA Near Date that I puchased on ebay last year that in all accounts appears to missing clad on reverse. Looking from rim inwards you can see where there is a distinct color change (goldish brown). I took best pics I could at the time. Any Thoughts. Thanks

what does the edge look like ?

 

Sorry about that...the rim is typical wide rim and date is as close as they come

 

the edge, not the rim ... if you stand the coin on its side, do u have apic of the side ???

 

battery is charging on camera..I should be able to use it again in about 20-30 min

I'm not Mike, but my suggestion is to take it to a jewler. They normally have accurate scales, to help determine the weight. Hope this helps.

Well went into town today to coin shop to get this coin weighed and by all
accounts its normal at 8.1 grams wishful thinging I guess. Thanks
