Asking b/c I don't know.. how did people get the 1979 S uncirculated Susan B. Anthony's from the mint? They aren't part of the normal mint set for that year right? I'm assuming rolls? Also, is that the only coin for 1979 that San Francisco minted for both uncirculated and proof?

The S mint SBA's have two types. The proof version that is in the US MInt Proof set and the Uncirculated version that comes from the 1979 PDS Souvenir Set.

The mint mark varieties apply to the proofs only.

Mint set quality is far higher than typical quality. Since there were
no San Francisco dollars in the regular mint sets high quality coins are
tough for this date. There were the special three piece souvenir sets
but these coins are not mint set quality.

Many of the available business strike coins came from bags and rolls.
Littleton coin company alone put vast numbers of these onto the mar-
    ket.

For this date even nice MS-63's are probably worth saving.
