1979 penny with the 1 missing

I work at a used auto parts place I take the cars apart and lately we've had some old BMW's and I found it under the seat

 

It looks like a grease filled die to me. Not really worth a premium, but a fun find.

Like previously stated, it is the result of a grease-filled die and not worth more than face value.
