Honest question...when you look at the picture you posted, can you even see either of the "i"'s? You'll get a bunch of replies telling you to post clearer, cropped photos of both sides of the coin. Then you'll spend countless hours trying to take better pictures and post a bunch of crap. Then you'll get more meaningless feedback. In the end you'll end up learning that your dime is a dime minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark - duh!) and has machine doubling (maybe) that causes you to see the "double i". Worth 10 cents. You'll be told to buy a red book. You'll be given countless links to websites that tell you about how coins are minted and what a real error or variety looks like. Naturally! With a body that long and legs that short, I can understand why you'd be irritable all of the time. @Mike the plumber First, welcome to the neighborhood! No, I can't tell anything from your photo. It's too small for my poor eyes. Granted, the dime has too much light on it, you should crop out the extraneous background before resizing the image, use the "Full Image" option because the "Thumbnail" image sucks, and finally, don't listen to anything a talking dog says. If it takes you countless hours... then you don't know what you are doing. It takes me about a minute Your Dime has a Misaligned Die Strike. See how the Right side is thicker than the left side. I bet the reverse side is perfectly centered. Could be a Collar Clash in between the false double rim also. But a better picture with less lighting can show us.
Looks like a off center dime im no pro but dimes are weird no huge values on the 65 silver is a rare dime i found a 65 last night in pocket change it was clad
It's not a Off Center... I gave the explanation, it's a Misaligned Die Strike. An Off Center and a Misaligned Die Strike are 2 different types of issues.
