Hello All. Found this 1979 D Jefferson Nickel which is in pretty rough condition but I see some form of doubling all over. I see the streaking lines which means worn die so is this only DDD? Or some other ?
See if you can find anything that exactly matches it in variety vista or wexler's Doubled Die sites. These should always be the first stop if you think you have a DD
I did not find anything so I was trying to identify what caused what I'm seeing. I thought die deterioration but I will check Wexlers.
