1979 D DDO?

    image.jpg I was going through my stash, when I came across this. You can see where the leg of the 9 its narrow at the bottom but to the right of it you clearly see where the 9 extends out.

    Looks more like a case of MD.

    image.jpg I'll get you some later today after work. I see a 1959 that has the same look. Although, mine doesn't appear to the doubling at the top of the 9.

    Were you able to see the pics? Looks like an offset hub, maybe? The reason for that, is it's the furthest numeral and it's the out side portion. I'm confident it's not a MD because this is not flat. It has the same look as the 1959 but that's a different class of DD.

    Sorry about the confusion. I was mentioning what furry frog said. I knew you didn't refer to it as MD.
