Ok. I'm going at this again. Just so y'all know, I won't stop until I get this right so thanks for patience in advance. This dime I think is off center on the obverse side. Not sure if just wear or doubling on liberty and maybe igwt. Also on the reverse is it normal for the C in America to overlap the A ?
If you are looking at beat up and circulated coins, it is most likely that you won't ever learn. Not trying to be rude, you must first be able to determine what is damage and circulation, and what the coin is supposed to look like in mint state. The obverse might be slightly off center but this is normal. The C is part of the design.
Well within specs but slightly off. The coin is beatup from circulation. You need to practice and sharpen your skills with newer, less used coins.
All I have are circulated coins. I used to have many still sealed in graded plastic rolls and singles. But all was stole and spent for gas and cigs like face value. And I'm talking I had some from waaay back. I didn't handle them or eb
Sorry I didn't look at them. I had some from 1700 my grandmother passed down and even some old coins I know had letters and numbers on each side. Idk what to look for. So I'm starting over.
Very slight misaligned die on the obv. Nothing special, if you watch your pocket change closely you can find a lot of them. For a Misaligned die to have a premium it has to be far enough off that part of the design is off the edge of the coin.
