1977 Cent I got as change yesterday @ Walmart

I got this beautiful 41 YO cent in my change. Still has Red mint luster after all of these years. It's a keeper that I'll put in my LC book. It must have made it's way from someones collection!

I'm not seeing any red mint luster on that coin. It's Brown.

 

Your lighting is not allowing us to see any red still a nice-looking coin though.IMO

What is a 41 YO?

 

The Lincoln Memorial Cent is 41 years old and still has red mint luster.
I'm sure your coin is red. I know the camera does no show the correct color sometimes. 41 YO LMC is RD w/ML .
One of those coins that just came out of grampa's or someone's collection.
It happens every day. I'm sorry to say.

I get so bored with taking photos sometimes.

 

I picked up this bad boy off the ground (under some insulating wood chips) a little while back. I kept it cause it had nice luster and details. Looks better in hand.

 

I cant figure it out, but the RB i recognize as Red Brown maybe. ???

 

Sometimes you hit a spot where somebody (child perhaps) has spent some change from a collection. It is fun, but I always feel for the person whose collection has been spent.
