I have heard of the large bust on the 1973, but not one the 1977. I was looking at it and it looks like a large bust. I have it compared to a small bust.
Pretty sure that's the normal portrait obverse for a 1977 (same as '65-'78 except for the 73 small) The obverse portrait was reduced in 1979
