1976-S Quarter?

    Can the 1976-S 40% Silver quarter be found in change? Sorry to not include this in my last post, this will be all.

    I'm sure it could. I found a 76 S clad in change.

    I got a Canadian quarter in change today, and I live in California. So anything is possible.

    It's not likely...those coins were issued only in mint and proof sets. Have they been spent in the past? Yes, but it's very uncommon. I wouldn't hold out hope of finding one.

    Yes, but you may have to search through hundreds of thousands of quarters to find one. Finding ANY silver quarter is rough, even searching rolls. To find a silver quarter that was never issued for circulation is going to be a LOT tougher. Much easier just to buy it.
