1976 nickel error?

    I am new to the site and I know very little about errors. I compared this with another 1976 nickel and the letting on this one seems almost wavier(I know, very scientific term, shows how little I know). The mint mark also looks like a blob to me (Again, sorry for the lack of correct terminology). Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks for looking!

    The waviness just looks like it came from going into a lot of slot machines. Mint marks looking like that are pretty common. Maybe someone else sees something though, keep looking in any case.

    All I see is a coin that has been around the block more times than we can count. When a coin has seen this much circulation, it is very hard to determine if some minor oddity is a true error or just circulation damage.
