Looks like a stain to me. Seems like the profile of Lincoln but it really isn't. No way that can occur.

 

old worn copper penny, worth 1 cent.

 

It appears to be environmental damage not a mint error.JMO

It does look like another bust . If it is it is reversed.

 

That would be due to another coin that was pressed onto it. But that's not even the case here.. We already determined that it's discoloration.

Best thing is don't look for things on coins that aren't possible. People are always posting about seeing extra mint marks or numbers that one look tells you it's stained or damaged. If it's a dirty, grungy coin chances are pretty high it's nothing.

 

It truly warms my heart that folks have finally embraced this. Kudos!
