Can anyone verify whether or not this is silver? I bought it off eBay as silver, relisted it as questionable. A buyer spoke up & stated it was .900 fine & then bid on it. I'm still not so sure, but he states that he has to have it. As he isn't the only active bidder I cannot just end the listing & sell to him. I just need to know, as I wouldn't sell it as silver or even questionable if it was determined not to be.

    Thanks.
Post script, the medal isn't marked. The COA also says nothing that would suggest it to be either.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

I don't know if it's silver or not, but if there is more than one bidder, the honorable thing to do is let the auction run its course. If the bidder "just has to have it", let him bid accordingly.

It's silver. The COA doesn't state that fact, but it's silver.

Agreed. Don't make matters worse. Just let the auction run out, in a normal fashion. If it happens to be silver, and you have it priced far below bullion value, no wonder "he has to have it".

You could always test the specific gravity.
