1976 d dime

    This dime is much thinner than the rest, and the rim looks to be mainly copper. I am wondering how the torch is the only part that looks rubbed off! Any suggestions!

    It's a normal worn coin.

    It appears to be a very normal circulated dime.IMO

    I think you are looking at the reeding which is worn down beyond the edges.
