Do you mean that little line coming down off the tip of the star? I don't see anything else "running through the center motto." Are you maintaining that's a die clash?
yes, coming off the star, the line running through the " M " of unum and the line running through the " R " of e pluribus, along with other areas too ..
I suppose I can see at least vaguely where that line aligns with the profile but that area from the tip of the star to the R isn't straight in the profile, is it? That's a light crack, if it's anything.
Washington's hair and the soldier's cuff are recessed design elements on those dies. The cuff can't take a clash from Washington's hair.
Rick, what happened, did you powder off? Lol, I'm wondering if you're getting this. I'll just add, clashes appear in the flat areas, i.e., in the fields, and, when they do, they leave more than just thin lines. You get that, it will make you better at spotting them. Before you know it, you'll be a pro.
Its all in fun . some our better then others, I own some nice clash coins in early die state, which this one isn't ..
