I've heard of people making rungs outta silver American coins but don't know if it is possible for a Canadian one
It doesn't look like it has been "spooned" to flatten the edge. If it had, you would expect to see a rim wider than what this coin shows. Based on the overall (poor) condition of the coin, I think this coin has been subjected to heavy circulated wear. Chris
