WSS, you'll probably find that the grease-filled die is one of the most common errors found on all denominations of coins and adds no premium to the face value of a coin except to a bidiot. Chris
I don't bid I buy haha. Although I got it for free. My grandpa send me halves. Although they are all clad.
Funny. There is one for sale on E-Bay at this very moment. Nice bids on it also! I will let you know what it sold for when it ends $$$
Depends on the coin, size of the struck through grease, date. Some collectors don't make a big deal about it but some do. I have some nice ones in my collection.
Agreed - Some struck through grease (like your pictured quarter) do bring a premium. I find it hard to believe that a missing "H" would bring much unless it is bid up by bidiots as cmp9ball stated.
OMG! maybe I should start listing all my pseudo errors. I remember collecting the 1976 quarters with the incomplete drum rim thinking it was a big error back then (was still a teenager). Now, I don't know that they bring any premium because I haven't bothered to check!
