It appears to be a nice circulated dime worth $0.10 based on the pics you provided.IMO

It doesn't appear to be a proof coin, but as @Dave363 stated, a nice circulated coin. Half the circulated dimes for that year were from Philly and they didn't have a mint mark. The P mint mark on Rosie dimes didn't appear until 1980. You have a good eye, keep up the search. :)

Seems polished. Was that an attempt (by the seller) to pass it off as a proof?

  8. I never polished it. I obtained it from a liquor store and thought it was beautiful for being so old it wasn't until I looked it up that I realized the value it may have held. The pictures don't really do it much justice it's beautiful. I really don't have my Hope's up that's it is a proof I doubt that it is but I wanted to see if anyone thought it was special

  9. Here are 2 more pictures for the person who asked for better pictures. I think it's fantastic for its age and sad that it's not a proof but it's so nice.

I'm not saying you polished it. But it looks to be polished. Which would ruin it if it had any value over a dime, which I don't think it does.

It’s not a proof. Just a regular minted Philadelphia dime. Somebody probably took some jewelry polish to it. It’s worth face value.

  13. Appreciate your help thank you

Neither additional pic helps. You need to provide full-size images, in-focus with no glare.
