    Post date my comment for June 4, 2019. Welcome to CT.
    Cents made prior to 1982 were mostly copper and being a soft metal, when it took a hit, or two, that could move metal around and give the appearance of a possible error. I have to agree with the others that it a PMD, meaning post mint damage, having occurred after it left the mint. Keep on looking and posting questions here. Good luck.
