1975 D Lincoln with a problem

Discussion in 'Coin Chat' started by Michael Bromiley, Mar 23, 2019.

  1. What is up with this 1975 D Lincoln cent I found. It has "bumps" or roughness all over both sides. I have seen bubbles due to gas, but mainly on zinc pennies. At first I thought it was environmental damage but when I zoomed in I noticed that you can still see the die lines, and cracks going over and through the bumps. I tried to zoom in a crack on photo #11. -- anyway would like some input
    Thanks,
