Struck with an over used very late stage die. Weak pony tail, Missing bridge of nose, bump on neck. No value added but a good study coin.
If you like it, it doesn't cost anything to save it. My first thought was a possible greaser, but the next 2 posts seem more likely.
Polished dies are used to make proof coins. Excessively cleaned dies can remove parts of the design features on the die.
Ok, I have always called clashed dies that have been "repaired", Polished dies. I suppose I need to update my terminology!
