Hello again, Can anyone check out this 1974 Washington Quarter I found? The olive branch has two extra leaves on the right side, inside the wing, and one extra leaf on the left side, same position inside the wing, also there is a protrusion if you follow the inside of the wing up from the left side near the bend. Thank you in advance, this one has me curious, I've posted a few before that were false alarms, but I'm not sure about this one.
Ok, I'll try to explain a little better as well as give you the obverse and reverse in totality. I said "extra leaves", that may have been misleading, as they are not fully stamped and as visible as the others. On the olive branch all the way to the right as you look at it, there are two leaves that overlap the wing, just to the left of the second leaf in, and just to the left of the wing is a double print of another leaf, but it's not as bold as the others, and is hard to see in the pictures, that's why I at first gave you a close-up view. Now all the way to the left, right at the point of the arrows there's a leaf, and coming from the tip of that leaf there is a line that goes up and comes back down in the shape of another leaf, this one is the more difficult to see in these pictures. Then if you follow that up the inside of the wing on the left, up toward the inside bend, there's a protrusion sticking out from the wing. I'll try to work on better pictures if you need them, and thank you for taking the time to check it out.
That line would line up with the bridge of the nose on the bust on a clash. Kind of hard to tell on a coin that worn but my guess it's a clash.
