1974 S mint Lincoln Penny

    I have 1974 S mint penny that is in high demand not sure on the grade from appearance! It appears in excellent quality with some errors like extra collums on the reverse side?

    It’s not in high demand and is only worth one cent.

    If I recall the 74-S cent had a lower mintage comparatively. However still yet near a half billion made. So no it isn’t really that desirable of a strike. And being an honest circulated cent, I wouldn’t expect that cent would bring a premium unless there is something here I am missing. Nice piece to start a cent collection with though!

    Welcome to CT. If your coin was a pristine proof coin it would be worth about a buck. But alas...... this one is worth a cent. Hope this helps
