1974 s Lincoln cent

Howdy again, is this a large date, is this the blob mint mark, mms 009 and there is something behind the S. Is this an s over S, South ? Even though I'm using the resources you people gave me I still could be wrong. Don't say it LOL thank you

Note the gap between the devices and the rim. In the link I sent, you'll note that the 4 is closer to the rim on the Large Date.

It’s difficult to tell from your photos. Crisp rather than over-magnified photos are what we need. Also, when you feel you have something, note the photos the various sites use to help with attribution. Take similar photos. The community here can help dial in with you.

 

I'm still a amateur when it comes to photos

 

Most of us start out crude and progress from there. Keep at it. It will come.

LOL!!

I’ve tried lots of items found lying about the house. One lets in too much light….the other too little. One backing color washes out the specimen while another too dark. All about experimentation and patience. Eventually you find what works and get to snapping better shots.

Personally, I enjoyed trying to find a low budget setup that others could duplicate especially if they were on a tight budget. It’s a fun challenge.
