1974 Quarter (wrong stock, 4.8g)

    Another pocket find. 1974 Washington Quarter ( struck on nickel stock. Weighs 4.8g. Any ideas as to a value?

    I apologize. I'm new to this. I've been collecting in my spare time for the past 10 years. I have many different error coins. I just have no idea as to what I have. There are so many factors and variations. Just fun....

    This quarter has been acid treated , The acid has eaten away at the inner copper core

    Correct. Acid erroded the copper.
    Nickel stock is not clad.

    Worth? Still 25 Cents
