1974 Quarter Bubble in Planchet

    Any ideas on what this might be? I have a feeling its post-mint damage caused by exposure to extreme heat, but I'm not sure and wanted to get a second opinion.

    Extreme heat created a bubble under the clad layer.
    Damaged. Not a Mint Error of any kind.
