I have two 1974 penny's that I thought something looked strange on. the first 4 are one penny and the last two are another. This is above "LIBERTY" and below "IN" I am not sure if it is anything or just me seeing things.
Kat, did you ever see how they mint these things? It's like machine gun fire. Look it up on youtube. I think it's a miracle if they don't have anything wrong with them.
I actually have saved coins since I can remember (my dad got me started) I never had time to actually look closely at them until lately. I do it because I enjoy it. I find it interesting. Do I think I will find some rare coin that will make me a millionaire? Probably not. If I do I will be glad to be able to add to a small part of history more than anything. So it isn't about saving time. It's about the enjoyment.
I just watched a couple videos on youtube. Very interesting! Not only is that hard on coins but I think coins take a hell of a beating daily. Most mothers always worry about kids choking on coins when they are little. My kids didn't put them in their mouths because I would say things like "how do you know someone didn't swallow that and then get it the next day?" or "what if that was dropped in doggie poo?" hahaha
Hell yes they take a beating, poor things. Glad you took the time to find a video. Most people don't listen to a thing I say, but you're new, so you don't know any better. Do you see, Kat? This is what it's about. Good, clean fun. Never lose sight of that. In the meantime, you just keep asking the questions, and we'll keep trying to find the answers.
I live to try to have fun. I raised five kids and half of their friends. It takes a lot to bother me you have all been super helpful and super nice. And as long as you suggest interesting, helpful, and fun things I will listen.....most if the time ;-) thank!!!!
