1974 P half dollar potential doubled die?

    bryantallard show me the money....so i can look through it

    there are points on the obv and rev that I am hoping is a doubled die. more so the obv. help appreciated. thank you.

    the obv I am pretty sure about but I am wrong more often than I would like to admit. does the rev look good too?

    I don't see anything. I usually dont look for small details, if you have something looks very small, it helps people here to post also full pictures of the obverse and reverse so that they can see the year etc.

    I would say not a doubled die. What you are showing on the profile would be MDD (Machine damage doubling), and what you are showing on the reverse is part of the design for the RDV-004 (reverse design variety) which was used from 1971-1974, and 1977-1984 for P, D and S reverses. You can see that on most all of the RDV-004's minted.
