Not close to a MS67. Need to be in hand to make that assessment.
Also, If that's Jefferson then I'm the handsome JFK! lol.gif lol.gif

Your 1974 LMC Type 1 Large Date is in great condition. Without better photos, it is difficult to say what grade you have there. When estimating an MS grade above 65, your photos need to be pristine for members to have a chance. As Sal notes, having a coin in hand gives the holder a better chance to detect flaws/defects that might otherwise go undetected in a photo. But the holder may not have the experience to make a proper assessment as a member here (Lehigh and Insider come to mind).

Practice your photography. It's a tough thing to master, but the better your photos the better the community will be at helping you out. Good luck!

Not a MS-67 and not a true doubled die.

Willy I am not saying what grade your cent is. But the too photos aren't even comparable. The PCGS 67 shows the amazing luster that can only be found on high grade above 66 coins. Contact should be a major determining factor, (it is) except that the TPG's put less emphasis on planchet roughness now adays.
We can't tell anything about your photo, there is too much light, and it is washing out all the details. As said with the 82 and others that you have posted send them to one of the 4 tpg's to get an actual grade. ICG has a special for CT members. I think it is $5 for commons. @Insider

Something to keep in mind. The jump from MS-66 to 67 is giant. It takes really great luster.

He said he's going to send it off to "IGC." That's the IGC link I gave him. I gave him it to help him out because he seems to be a little green at this business. The coin grader is ICG, not IGC.

The special for CT members is $10 @ for US coins. Tokens & foreign is $12. These rates are below what we charge others as ore fees have increased. We will probably raise the CT Special next year.

Also. I STRONGLY SUGGEST that any long-time collector who knows how to grade already ;) give themselves a test and have a few coins checked at either ICG or ANACS. Both services are less expensive and have faster turn-around times.
