    Just a die made from a work hub that made all of the lettering get pushed closer to the rim and mushed together.

    To be clear, your dime has a mint or it would not exist.

    There were over 470 million 1974 dimes minted at the Mint in Philadelphia and not a single one of them has a mintmark. It's only worth ten cents.
