1974 Kennedy Half error coin?

just found this one and I’m curious if this is an error type or not. It looks like there are raised dimples on the coin, one with a crater in it. No visible indentation corresponding to the dimple on the flip side. Also, might be “missing” a chunk where the “1” of 1974 is. I don’t know how to clean it w/o damaging it, so I apologize if the dirtiness interferes with the photo appearance.

Your Kennedy Half was affected by extreme heat. It has damage to the Clad layers. Not a mint error.

Question Paddy...would the extreme heat account for the black toning too?

    +1, extreme heat.

The “black” appears to be a substance rather than toning. How much heat we talking here?
