I have no idea of what the value is but I know it's the most interesting coin I've ever seen. On it is a 1974 D stamp but also 1968 s is stamped backward so I'm confused. can anyone please tell me more about my penny?

Sorry to say that it is just a squeeze job. Someone was having fun with a bench vice.

I was thinking that. I wanted to see the other side of the coin and see the vice marks.

Never mind, I think I see it.

The giveaway that it was a "squeeze-job" is that the letters of LIBERTY and the date are backwards.

It's all been said but it makes me want to go create a few of my own. With a little thought, my vise and the right line-ups, I could sell them off as works of art. lol :)

Just don't try to make an 11-cent coin. It has already been done.

Before you dream of a million dollar find, you should first find out if it's real.. Sorry but everyone is correct in that it is a Vise, squeeze job. It is very interesting though!

This is an old thread. What is your question? Start a new thread with pictures.

If your star looks incused into the Cent it's post mint damage.
