1974 D Half Dollar DDO #2

This variety can be found with lots of roll hunting but it's hard to find one in BU condition.

No doubt that this is the best Doubled Die in the entire Kennedy series but..............it can be found in 1974 US Mint Sets.

I do agree that its difficult to find in BU "in the Wild" though.

 

Lee...there is no doubt that the 74D DDO-001 is a very nice doubled die, but I would question that it is the best one in the Kennedy series. What about the 67 SMS DDO-006?
