Would anyone mind helping me confirm or rule this out as a FS-101? I feel like I see the marker on the 'E' and above the ear, however I see weak doubling on the words and date (maybe because of general wear or die state?), especially on 'TRUST'. I feel like the 'U' looks right though. I also see doubling in the eye that I am not seeing on other confirmed examples. Thoughts?
Thank you for reminding me of that site! I was trying to remember that one specifically! It looks closer to the Stage D I think, but the spread is not quite as obvious for me. Also thinking it may be another DDO variety, not the FS-101. You do agree this is a DDO though, correct?
HUH? Why would you even consider your coin to be the DDO FS-101 Kennedy much less spent time looking for a die marker for the FS-101 which has doubling that is as obvious as the nose on your face? And no, based upon the photo's, I don't see a DDO. Of any kind.
I was just investigating the link @Rick Stachowski posted above for me and was trying to learn something since he took the time to help. I have a visual impairment, so I value the time/courtesy of others who try to help me. I struggle identifying and distinguishing between both doubled dies and double striking, especially on circulated coins. A 1955 Lincoln cent DDO is obvious doubling to me, just a slight bit more than this variety. Thank you for your input.
