1973 what? Prob Die Deterioration. Help old wise ones

    IMG_1338.JPG IMG_1341.JPG 73 ddr.jpg So 1973 DDR? I keep all the 73's I come across and reference the ones I had and none are like it and I haven't seen another penny like this either - What ever it is I will be grateful for the knowledge letting - 73 ddr.jpg

    Where do you see the Doubling?
    I see on the Obverse that it's a slight Misaligned Die Strike.

    The reverse looks normal to me.

    In your original post, the last two photos of the Lincoln Memorial are identical. Did you intend on using one of these photos as a reference?

    I looked back on the full size photos? could that be the result of a dropped element?
    It looks like the metal flows from the Main column?
