I have this '73 proof set and the Kennedy is a DDO-002, the Ike is a DDR-004, and the nickel although undocumented for any varieties, has doubling of the forehead and eye. While I'm very confident on the half and dollar, there is some question if the nickel is MD or DDO? I have not set them free and tried to take some pics through the plastic, but there was too much glare and none of them show what the eye can see. My question is which makes more sense? Keep them encased as is or bust them out and get them properly attributed and possibly graded? In regard to which case scenario is chosen, which has better value in the long run? Also, is it common or not to find multiple errors/varieties in a proof set vs. a mint set? You can see some of the details on the Ike, but the Kennedy not so much and no luck whatsoever on the nickel.
i have the same set with doubling on all the coins but with minimal on the Roosevelt dime.. this only post I found anywhere online with same error set
