1973 penny

    First time here. I found this penny and can't find out anything about it. Did someone just stamp AZ on it? Please see attached. Thanks.

    It's called a counterstamped coin. Not much added value, if any, but still a nice find, though. Welcome to CoinTalk.

    I am pretty sure all 50 states are on these coins. (Not all the same date.)
