1973 half dollar ddr

    Looks like machine doubling to me, step-like appearance and no split serifs.

    I was kind of thinking the same thing also i have close up shot of trust it appears some doubling in R. 1973 D HALF TRUST.JPG

    Obverse and Reverse both MDD.

    I just got my copy of Cherrypicker's Guide the obverse close up shot of WE TRUST is the same as page 321 in the book in my opinion this is FS-50-1973 D-101 (014.8) note the left edge of R in TRUST. 1973 D HALF TRUST.JPG

    The FS-50-1973D-101 (014.8) in the Cherrypicers's Guide is also the CONECA listed 73D DDO-001...attached is a photo of TRUST on the 73D DDO-001. Is yours the same?

    Not the same Larry but that's a super photo,i am going to come from a different angle with shots.I am going to post three photos,the first will be a close up shot of WE TRUST if you will look to the right of the S and the T there is a secondary S AND T.The IN GOD shot notice the left edge and secondary D inside.The last photo notice the left side of R and secondary letter inside.     Everything you pointed out on the obverse looks like MDD to me.
