Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

Picked up this crown sized, 1973 Egypt 1 pound silver coin, at my local coin store, complete with an airtite, to fit the 40mm coin. While it is fairly common (mintage of approximately 50,000), I find it to be one of the more attractive of the Egyptian issues. This one is probably around MS 63, or so, by my guess.

Both the Aswan Dam and the Tutankhamen are very nice Egyptian coins. Thanks for sharing.

I've very seriously collected Egyptian coins. In the 1990s, I even tried to accumulate all the commemorative one and five Pound coins -- like the Tutankamen. The series had so many beautiful and interesting coins. However, there were eventually too many so that I gave up and only continue to collect or upgrade my pre-Arab Republic of Egypt coins.
