1972S Double mint mark?

    First welcome to CT. Unfortunately that’s not a RPM it’s mechanical doubling (MD). You can see it in the date also. Flat shelflike with reduction in the devices.

    I would tend to agree with you but the MD in the 9 and 2 of the date is NE, same as the mint mark. Also the RPM—001 is from a doubled master die 1972 WMDO-001 and the OP’s doesn’t appear ( by the one picture) to be from a doubled master die.

    I agree with Danomite on this one. The photos of the real RPM are much different from the op's coin. The line on the S of the op's coin looks to be down near the field of the coin and the line on the S of the real RPM looks to be farther up on the S.
