1972D hub or mechanical doubling?

    OK....was going to use this coin to learn about "cleaning" but decided I should take a closer look first. Glad I did! Either way, hub or mechanical, it'll be my first doubling find from circulation.

    So experts, and novices too, can you give me any idea which it is? If more picts are needed(details of the rest of the reverse or obverse), let me know, though these are probably the best resolution I can get.

    Looks like mechanical doubling to me - but Mike is the one who's opinion I'd value.

    I would agree that it is mechanical doubling.

    Like I said before, its my first doubling find, of any kind, and so makes it into my rag tag error collection :) And thanks to you two, it'll be properly labeled.
