    I had searched the internet for about an hour for an answer. Gave up and came here. After posting here, looked at one more thing on the internet and found my answer. It was a real newbie question, too.

    The cent that doesn't have a mint mark is from the Philly mint and no it isn't worth gazillions?
    I had to say something since I took the time to open the thread.:)

  15. Cant recall how many times ive read some here write no matter how dumb the question sounds you should ask because thats how you learn.
    Wonder just how many will not ask because of the answers this tread just got.

    Post the question and the answer you found, so the next person to ask likely won't be searching for an hour or so and they hopefully stumble upon this thread through a google search. :)

    I wanted to know about the "S" cent, but found out it was issued that way.

    The S cent is in the Philly cello.
    ...was that the question?

    Yes, basically.
    The "S" is actually in the Denver cello, Philly cello has the cardboard token.
