    All I see is a Misaligned Die Strike.. I don't see any doubling o_O
    (I'm no DDO or DDR specialist anyways)

    Your coin appears to be one example of the very large percentage of 1972 cents display what's called "master doubling".

    It does, but is not of the type the OP was hoping. In particular, said master doubling is most noticeable on the N of IN as well as the B and T of LIBERTY. :)

    You're certainly welcome. I too was happy to have found it, and can't help but to wonder if it was a recent addition. While I remember Mr. Wexler addressing this elsewhere on his site in the past, I do not recall seeing it presented in such a clear and detailed fashion.
