What a sad 1972 DDO and it's only my second 1972 DDO find. It is to shredded for me to figure out which one it is.

Probably going to put it on the trade/sell page and see if anyone out there wants it because there are people out there like me that have a hard time figuring things out if they don't have a "in hand example" . I had the hardest time with RPM until I had one to see first hand lol. Free of course too badly damaged to be worth anything.

Looks like -008 on "IN" and the last of TRUST.

So I came across a 1972 D coin I looked at the back and it seems like it maybe a error.

If you are referring to the left side it looks like the coin took a hit. PMD post mint damage

Also generally speaking you should start your own thread on coins you have a question about because more people see the question.

I probably should , yes the spot on the left the bottom of the "O" is missing some and looking close at it the line going towards the house is part of the rim.

The line going from the rim appears to be a cut. Looks like someone had a wirecutters tried to cut a wedge out of it. Hard to tell, but done outside of the mint, so not an error. Copper is easy to work on with simple tools as it is soft metal, so some people pass time playing . Jim
