1972 poor mans DD or the real deal?

    Machine doubling. There are 12 DDO for 1972 cent. The die #1 above is of course the most prominent, but dies #1 through #8 are all class 1 Doubled dies, and show more doubling along the rim letters than the date. Even the #1, if you compare the doubling of the date to the doubling separation of the "G" in "GOD". The last 4 are interesting also, but not as much doubling nor separation to make them as valuable ( except to collectors trying to get them all) to the general collector. So look for doubling of the letters around the rim as confirmation of # 1-8.
